- Industry/ Organization Type: Maritime Shipping Agency and Supply Services Provider
- Position Title: Technical Purchaser / Buyer
- Working Location: West – Tuas (Nearest MRT: Tuas West)
- Working Hours: 5.25 days (Mon to Fri: 8.30am-5pm, Alternate Sat: 8.30am-12.30pm)
- Salary Package: Up to SGD 3200 + AWS + Performance Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Tasked with overseeing daily procurement operations, which include:
- Sourcing products and comparing costs, Preparing and submitting quotations, Negotiating prices and placing orders, Coordinating and tracking deliveries
- Collaborating closely with the operations and sales departments to ensure order fulfilment
- Keeping precise and current records of purchases and pricing
- Developing and sustaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Evaluating suppliers, supplies, and pricing options thoroughly
- Managing invoice processes, including the assessment and settlement of invoices, ensuring alignment with purchase and delivery orders
- Resolving any disputes with customers or suppliers
- Regularly assessing and managing approved vendor lists
- Ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal policies in daily activities
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks as needed

- Min. 1 year of working experience in procurement role, preferably in shipping sector
- Training is provided to inexperienced candidate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
