  • Position Title: ICT Project Manager (Finance Systems / ERP)
  • Working Location: City Hall (near MRT station)
  • Working Hours: 5 days, Mon – Fri (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Fri 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Completion Bonus
  • Duration: 1 year contract

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall planning for finance system implementation projects, including defining scope, setting timelines, and identifying risks to ensure delivery within budget and aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as the main point of contact between internal teams, senior management, and external vendors, organising regular meetings and providing clear progress updates to ensure effective communication throughout the project.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, establish quality control processes, conduct regular reviews, and implement corrective actions to ensure the system meets required standards.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including key decisions, technical specifications, user requirements, and lessons learned, ensuring proper handover to support future system maintenance and enhancements.
  • Manage procurement of technology solutions, software licences, and professional services, including vendor evaluation and contract discussions, in line with company policies and relevant guidelines.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards, while maintaining proper records and supporting audit processes.
  • Any ad hoc duties assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum Master, Product Management) or other recognised project-related qualifications is required.
  • IT service management certification such as ITIL will be an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of ICT project management experience, including full-cycle ERP system implementation and experience in at least one Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall project environment.
  • Strong ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions, supported by solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Experience in financial services environments (e.g., banking or insurance) will be an advantage.
  • Certification in major finance ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle, as well as knowledge of ERP finance solution best practices, will be beneficial.
