  • Position Title: Accounts Payable Executive
  • Working Location: Tuas
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary
  • Duration: Maternity Cover from March - September

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Check supplier invoices and perform three-way matching against purchase orders and goods received notes.
  • Enter invoices into the accounting system with correct account coding and accurate GST recording.
  • Review and process staff expense claims, ensuring all supporting documents are complete and properly approved.
  • Arrange and process monthly supplier payments and respond to supplier enquiries promptly.
  • Ensure all payments are supported by proper documentation and approved according to company policies before processing.
  • Prepare and process Interbank GIRO and Telegraphic Transfer (TT) payments to suppliers on time.
  • Maintain petty cash records and perform monthly petty cash reconciliation.
  • Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure timely payment to avoid overdue balances.
  • Update daily bank balances, inform relevant departments of transactions, and reconcile payments issued.
  • Perform month-end checks to ensure all accounting entries are recorded accurately.
  • Carry out month-end accounts payable reconciliation and match balances with vendors’ Statements of Account (SOA).
  • Support monthly closing activities to ensure accounts are closed on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting; logistics, transport, or construction experience is an advantage.
  • Familiar with NetSuite is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of AR processes, reconciliation, and payment handling.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take on additional tasks.
