  • Position Title: Ocean Freight Export Officer
  • Working Location: Toh Guan
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 08:15 AM – 3:30 PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent Role

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sea export shipments and ensure customer requirements and documentation are accurate
  • Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards
  • Prepare and process export documents (e.g., HBL, MBL, manifest, customs declarations) on time
  • Perform general shipping duties, including system data entry and resolving shipment issues
  • Communicate with customers, shipping lines, transport teams, and overseas offices for smooth deliveries
  • Ensure timely billing and collection of related charges
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints
  • Prepare payment vouchers, verify vendor costs, and maintain shipment files
  • Follow up on short-landed, damaged, or discrepancy cargo
  • Coordinate with various parties (warehouse, carriers, insurance, customs, etc.) based on shipment needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Minimum Diploma qualification
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding, export/import procedures, or permit declarations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Willing to work overtime when required
  • Strong analytical skills and able to work independently and in a team
