  • Industry/ Organization Type: Shipbuilding and repair services
  • Position Title: Warehouse Assistant cum Admin
  • Working Location: Tuas
  • Working Hours: 5-days (Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic up to $2,800
  • Duration: Permanent

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check, and record incoming stock and materials.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Organize and store inventory in assigned storage areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory systems.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and cycle counts.
  • Identify and report any stock discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
  • Prepare and process items for shipment or internal use.
  • Label, tag, and track inventory items properly.
  • Keep the storage area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams when required.

  • Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
  • Experience in warehouse, inventory, or retail work is an advantage.
  • Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
  • Familiar with inventory systems or software (e.g., Excel, SAP, or similar).
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Able to handle physical tasks such as moving items when required.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
