  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri 8AM – 5PM, Sat 8AM – 12PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $4,200 + AWS + Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, operate and maintain laser cladding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare substrates by cleaning and pre-treating surfaces to ensure effective bonding.
  • Select appropriate cladding materials and parameters based on job requirement.
  • Apply laser cladding techniques to repair and enhance components, following work instruction and best practices.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure the integrity and consistency of cladded surfaces.
  • Collaborate with supervisor & engineers to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including consumable usage and process parameters.
  • Perform routine maintenance on laser cladding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure HS&E policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

  • NITEC/Certification in Welding, or any related field
  • Experience with laser cladding or similar advanced welding techniques are required
  • Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties & proficiency in operating laser cladding machinery and related tools are an added advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
