Industry/ Organization Type: Mosque Religious

Position Title: Mosque Religious & Youth Development Officer

Working Location: Bukit Merah

Working Hours: 9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday

Salary Package: Basic up to $2,700 + AWS

Duration: Permanent Role

 

Key Responsibilities

Plan and run religious activities and programmes at the mosque

Create dakwah materials and educational programmes/services, and organise Islamic courses and events

Manage and coordinate dakwah content for online platforms

Lead prayers and deliver Islamic teachings

Lead youth development efforts, including engagement activities, mentoring, and learning sessions

Work with volunteers and internal teams to encourage stronger youth participation in mosque activities

Guide youth on Islamic values, character development, and community service

Handle administrative tasks (e.g., honorarium claims and other duties assigned as needed)

Degree in Islamic Studies

ARS Certified (Tier 1)

Proficient in English, Malay, and Arabic

Able to work independently and work well with others

Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
