Position Title: Senior Design Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer

Working Location: Ang Mo Kio

Working Hours: 5.5 Days, 44 hrs per week

Salary Package: Basic Salary + Allowances + AWS + Variable bonus

Duration: Permanent

 

Key Responsibilities

Review and oversee steel and reinforced concrete (RC) shop drawings, including bar bending schedules (BBS) for MRT underground structures.

Ensure all steel and RC works on-site are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.

Provide daily technical guidance to the site team on design-related matters.

Coordinate with construction, E&M, and subcontractor teams to address detailing and execution challenges.

Conduct inspections of reinforcement work prior to concreting and verify readiness for casting.

Identify design discrepancies or constructability concerns and recommend practical solutions.

Maintain proper documentation of approved drawings and assist in the preparation of as-built drawings.

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

At least 8-10 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to MRT site-based projects.

Solid understanding of reinforced concrete detailing, steel strutting, and site construction practices.

Ability to interpret structural drawings and technical specifications accurately.

Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
