  • Working Location: Hybrid – Remote work (located in Johor Bahru)
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days, Mon - Fri (8.30 am – 5.45 pm), Sat (8.30 am – 1.30 pm)
  • Salary Package: Up to RM12,000+ Performance Bonus + Transport Allowance
  • Duration: Permanent Role 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively seek out new client opportunities and stay ahead of competitive trends in the Malaysian market.
  • Conduct thorough research on the local logistics and supply chain industry to devise a strategic business plan for sector growth.
  • Implement the business strategy based on market analysis, regularly report on sales progress and meet biweekly to discuss the sales pipeline and objectives.
  • Establish and utilize OKRs and KPIs to monitor business plan execution, ensuring quarterly and annual revenue, profit, and market share benchmarks are met.
  • Aim to achieve a 10% operating profit margin of total revenue over operating costs in the first year.
  • Collaborate with headquarters to enhance marketing efforts and brand presence, roll out campaigns, and introduce new services for the domestic and international markets.
  • Scale successful solutions and services nationwide, enhance current product lines, and potentially create new lines to generate additional revenue streams.
  • Enhance synergy between Sales and Operations to deliver top-tier customer service, resolve client concerns, and grow incremental business.
  • Foster network growth by developing trade lanes, generating sales leads, and collaborating with network partners to enhance route efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers or utilize business partners' pre-negotiated rates, aiming for cost reductions and efficient carrier selection.
  • Maintain a balance of 90% business development focus with 10% dedicated to administrative tasks.
  • Execute other responsibilities as directed by the General Manager, including ad-hoc project involvement.
  • To carry out any other duties as assigned by the GM, including ad-hoc deployment for projects.

  • Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant fields) with a minimum 5 years experience in Malaysia Freight Forwarding Sales/Business Development
  • Excellent written, oral communication & presentation skills
