• Industry/ Organization Type: Food Manufacturing/ Production 
• Position Title: QC Lab Assistant/ QC Lab Technician 
• Working Location: Tuas (Transport provided) 
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm 
• Salary Package: Up to $2,500 + Allowances + Bonus 
• Duration: Permanent 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sensory evaluations, along with chemical and microbiological tests, on both products and raw materials.
• Understand and implement sampling plans, conducting sampling of raw materials and products as required.
• Prepare laboratory culture media and reagents as needed.
• Prepare product samples upon customer request or for internal/external laboratory testing.
• Accurately document all necessary information on the provided inspection forms and master list.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and its equipment.
• Notify the QC Head of Department (HOD) about lab inventory levels to ensure timely procurement of necessary items and equipment for analysis.
• Report any non-conformities in raw materials and products to the HOD.
• Store retained raw material samples according to production dates for future reference in case of customer quality disputes.
• Participate in company-wide activities and tasks as required.

• Minimum GCE "O" Level with passes in Chemistry and Biology
• At least 1 year of related working experience in laboratory work is preferred
