• Position Title: Quantity Surveyor
• Working Location: Senai, Johor
• Working Hours: 5 Days, Mon – Fri (8.30am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to client communications, including emails and phone calls.
• Address customer inquiries with effective solutions and arrange client meetings.
• Act as the communication link between clients and the production team.
• Prepare cost estimates and generate quotations based on project specifications and requirements
• Source materials and calculate fabrication costs according to client specifications.
• Prepare and issue detailed quotations based on calculated pricing.
• Negotiate pricing and schedules with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review and interpret cutting plan drawings required for fabrication.
• Manage purchase orders, oversee subcontractor work, and handle contract documentation.
• Monitor and handle variation orders, final accounts, and work orders.
• Assess work progress and recommend payment schedules.
• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors to optimize project costs and timelines.
• Maintain records of projects, and work with the accounts department to prepare and issue invoices for deposits or final payments.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate quotes and proposals.
• Review packing lists and invoices for logistics between Singapore and Johor Bahru.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

• Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally in the metal industry.
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills are essential.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation and contract management.
• Experience in sales, client relationship management, or business development is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Marine industry drawings is preferred.
