• Position Title: Project Engineer
• Working Location: Senai, Johor
• Working Hours: 5 Days, Mon – Fri (8.30am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Define project goals and outline technical requirements in line with client specifications, supporting the planning and execution of production tasks.
• Prepare detailed material take-offs, cutting layouts, and drawings to facilitate fabrication processes.
• Assist the Project Manager with organizing production schedules and monitor workflow progress.
• Liaise with clients to provide updates on fabrication progress, arrange inspections, and coordinate delivery timelines.
• Procure materials, monitor their receipt, and ensure all necessary resources and equipment are available as needed.
• Review and confirm budget estimates prepared by the Quantity Surveyor to ensure accuracy in project costing.
• Arrange, support, and participate in quality assurance inspections and client site visits as required.
• Oversee that all finished products adhere to technical standards prior to shipment, and maintain up-to-date production records, including logistics and delivery management.
• Maintain safety certifications, ensure all factory equipment is properly serviced and accredited, and keep ISO documentation current for audit readiness.
• Oversee daily workplace safety, conduct regular safety briefings, update risk assessments, manage safety records, and lead accident investigations when necessary.

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in project engineering, ideally in the metal fabrication industry.
• Good understanding with fabrication drawings, welding processes, and QA/QC standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and safety regulations is highly preferred.
