  • Position Title: Quantity Surveyor
  • Working Location: Kaki Bukit
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday – Friday 9AM – 6PM, Saturday 9AM – 1PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $8,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates and budgets for construction projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
  • Oversee contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate and assess tender submissions, gather quotations, and prepare tender documentation for projects.
  • Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide consistent cost reports to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Prepare and process interim valuations, progress claims, and manage payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Measure quantities and create bills of quantities, schedules, and other necessary documentation.
  • Compile and deliver regular cost, progress, and financial reports as required by management.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or any equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with quantity surveying is preferred
  • Prior experience with interior design projects is considered an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of current market rates and Schedule of Rates (SOR) are a plus
