  • Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 9.00 am – 6.00 pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic up to $8,500 + AWS + $100 Mobile Reimbursement 
  • Duration: Permanent Role

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team to set supplier agreements based on sales and operations needs.
  • Provide the Asia Pacific region with a range of sea freight and intermodal service providers.
  • Research market developments and competition rates; act on findings.
  • Build and expand relationships with new and existing suppliers.
  • Work closely with suppliers, other offices, forwarders, and agents on rate offers and negotiations.
  • File and maintain supplier information, rates, and surcharges in our Internal Vendor System.
  • Monitor and manage the expiration of various rates in the Vendor System.
  • Handle and control all rate negotiations with suppliers.
  • Look for ways to make the best use of the supplier portfolio.
  • Manage, support, and assist the regional procurement team in daily activities.
  • Assist the Superior in other procurement duties as needed.

  • Diploma or similar credential required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement within the logistics industry.
  • Possess container shipping experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of sea freights and transportation.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement or Process Development is a plus.
