  • Working Location: One-North (5 mins from Buona Vista MRT)
  • Working Hours: 5 Days
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + VB

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach up to 36 periods per week, with strong knowledge of IB concepts, inquiry-based learning, and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
  • Work with colleagues to develop unit plans (UOI for PYP, Unit Planners for MYP/DP) that include interdisciplinary learning and global contexts.
  • Tailor lessons to meet students' aptitude levels and linguistic backgrounds. Use both formative and summative assessments to support student growth.
  • Collaborate with the Student Support Department to ensure all students are challenged and supported.
  • Lead or coach a Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) after school and supervise students during break/lunch periods.
  • If assigned, serve as a Homeroom Teacher, providing care and mentorship to a group of students.
  • Participate in school committees, workgroups, and professional development sessions (including occasional weekends or after-school meetings).
  • Represent the school positively within the community and act as a professional role model.
  • Any ad hoc duties assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in an international school is preferred.
  • Experience or training in at least one IB programme (PYP, MYP, or DP) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum mapping and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative attitude, and a commitment to being responsive to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
